    Currently, in odoo, there is no feature to restrict product creation. This module restricts the create and edit product option from the sale order/quotation. For example, If you create the quotation and add the product then it doesn't display the "Create and Edit" & "Create" product options. Here we have not restrict to create products from the product menu. Cheers!

    • 1) You can restrict the product create and edit option from the sale order/quotation.
    • 2) Reduce double product creation and mismanagement.

    Installations

    1) You will receive the link to download the zip file of the module please download it.

    2) Extract the zip file, you will see a folder named ‘sh_restrict_sale_product_creation’.

    3) Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Addons path / Custom Addons Path.

    4) Now, open the odoo as Developer Mode.

    5) Go to Apps menu and click on ‘Update Modules List’, Press Update Button.

    6) In the search bar, search ‘sh_restrict_sale_product_creation’.

    7) Click on ‘Install’ to install it.
