We seek a highly skilled and knowledgeable Functional Consultant (Chartered Accountant) to join our team. This role involves analyzing and implementing financial and business management solutions, leveraging accounting and financial expertise to enhance our clients’ business processes. The ideal candidate has a strong accounting background, excellent problem-solving skills, and proven financial and business analysis skills.
Responsibilities
1. Solution Design & Implementation:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business processes and requirements.
- Design and implement financial and operational solutions within ERP systems, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
- Customise ERP solutions to meet specific client needs, focusing on modules like financial accounting, asset management, and tax compliance.
2. Requirement Gathering & Analysis:
- Conduct detailed analysis and document clients' financial processes.
- Identify and assess gaps in clients' current systems and propose relevant solutions.
3. Testing & Troubleshooting:
- Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet client expectations.
- Troubleshoot issues during implementation and provide ongoing support to resolve any technical or functional challenges.
4. Training & Documentation:
- Conduct training sessions to ensure end-users can effectively utilize implemented solutions.
5. Process Improvement & Optimization:
- Recommend best practices and improvements for financial and operational processes.
- Keep abreast of new accounting and ERP system features, updates, and trends.
Qualifications
- Education: A Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial reporting, auditing, and accounting principles. Familiarity with ERP software is preferred.
- Soft Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and internal teams. Project management skills and the ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously.
Must Have
- Familiarity with Indirect Tax and Accounting as Standards.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a consulting environment.
