We are looking for a detail-oriented Business Analyst – AI Consulting to join our AI Consulting division. The role involves analyzing business processes, documenting workflows, gathering operational data, and preparing structured reports to identify AI automation opportunities. You will work closely with Business Consultants and AI Specialists to provide clear insights that help clients assess AI readiness and make informed technology decisions.

Responsibilities
- Conduct structured workshops and stakeholder interviews across departments such as Finance, HR, Operations, Sales, and Customer Service to understand current workflows.
- Document business processes end-to-end including inputs, steps, decision points, roles, outputs, tools used, process volumes, and error rates.
- Create clear and professional process maps using BPMN and swimlane methodologies.
- Maintain a comprehensive process inventory covering all departments evaluated during the engagement.
- Identify process inefficiencies, bottlenecks, manual workarounds, and improvement opportunities.
- Apply the AI Suitability Framework to evaluate processes based on automation potential, data availability, decision complexity, and business impact.
- Analyse departmental data landscapes to assess data availability, accessibility, and AI readiness.
- Gather operational metrics such as task duration, frequency, FTE effort, and error rates to support ROI analysis.
- Assist in developing the AI Opportunity Matrix and prioritisation models for automation initiatives.
- Prepare structured reports and documentation including readiness assessments, opportunity analysis, and supporting materials.
- Develop process documentation such as Process Detail Cards, Department Summaries, and supporting appendices.
- Maintain analysis spreadsheets and documentation with accurate and up-to-date engagement data.
- Participate in client workshops, capture detailed notes, and ensure accurate documentation of discussions and insights.
- Coordinate follow-ups with stakeholders to gather required information and data for analysis.
- Support the Business Consultant in preparing presentations, validation workshops, and final client deliverables.
Education
- Business Analysis certifications such as CBAP or CCBA are an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- 3+ years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, operations consulting, or similar analytical roles.
- Strong experience documenting complex business processes using structured methodologies.
- Experience conducting stakeholder interviews and workshops to gather requirements or process information.
- Strong analytical skills with experience working in Excel or Google Sheets to analyse business data.
- Experience producing structured reports and professional documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining strong attention to detail.
Must Have
- Strong business process mapping and documentation skills.
- Ability to analyse operational data and extract actionable insights.
- Excellent written communication and report writing skills.
- Experience using Excel / Google Sheets for data analysis.
- Familiarity with process mapping tools such as Lucidchart, Visio, or Draw.io.
- Basic understanding of AI, automation, or digital transformation concepts.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
