We are seeking an experienced Business Consultant – AI Consulting to lead strategic consulting engagements focused on AI transformation and automation opportunities for enterprise clients. The ideal candidate will act as a senior client-facing advisor responsible for guiding organisations through AI readiness assessment, identifying automation opportunities, and delivering board-ready transformation strategies with clear ROI models.
This role requires strong consulting expertise, excellent stakeholder management skills, and working knowledge of AI and automation technologies to help clients make informed technology investment decisions.

Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end AI consulting engagements, from discovery and scoping through delivery and post-engagement advisory.
- Conduct structured discovery sessions and workshops with key stakeholders across departments such as Finance, HR, Operations, Sales, and Supply Chain.
- Build trusted relationships with senior leadership, including C-suite executives and department heads.
- Translate complex AI concepts and technical findings into clear business strategies and actionable insights.
- Conduct AI Readiness Assessments evaluating factors such as data quality, technology maturity, leadership alignment, talent readiness, and process maturity.
- Identify and prioritise AI and automation opportunities aligned with client business goals.
- Develop AI transformation strategies and implementation roadmaps with phased timelines (30/90/180/365 days).
- Build ROI models and financial business cases to justify AI initiatives and technology investments.
- Conduct Build vs Buy vs Partner evaluations and support vendor selection through PoC validation.
- Ensure delivery of high-quality consulting outputs including readiness assessments, opportunity analyses, ROI models, strategy documents, and implementation roadmaps.
- Review and validate deliverables prepared by analysts and consulting team members.
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to improving internal consulting frameworks, templates, and methodologies.
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is preferred.
Experience
- 8+ years of experience in business consulting, ERP implementation, digital transformation, or operational strategy roles.
- Proven experience delivering complex consulting engagements involving multiple stakeholders.
- Experience conducting executive workshops and presenting recommendations to senior leadership teams.
- Strong business process knowledge across at least two domains such as Finance, Operations, HR, Supply Chain, or Customer Service.
- Experience building ROI models and financial business cases for technology initiatives.
- Working understanding of AI, machine learning, and automation concepts.
